Through some digging I found that the issue is related to the (software update manifest, I am guessing) url being unaccessible. If I however connect my company laptop to my home netwrok, without going through VPN it does pull down the update list and I can then update it on or off the firewall. The Creative Cloud app when connected to company firewall or VPN never lists any updates available. Our IT dept handles the security/firewall, not the individual user. Creative Cloud Team member and we are all having the same issue. I found a few servers on here and IT opened them, but clearly something is being missed. I haven't been able to get anyone to give me a specific list of servers IT needs to open or things they can do. just needs to open everything up." Really? Yeah, they are going to do that. Somehow, we were all switched to trial version and if I try to activate it, I get a warning that I am not connected to the internet. It downloaded for everyone and we were all working away. I recently purchased Creative Cloud for teams. Do we need to open a specific port? In which case why does Reader 7.0 work without issue? However, where the should be a name for the server we are showing a blank. When I try to update the program manually HELP | Check for updates I get the Adobe Updater dialog popup as expected for username and password to access the Proxy server. We have ISA server 2000 at all sites which are configured correctly to allow browsing to the network. Need some help with this as we are about to roillout reader 8.0 on all our desktops.
